Bye Bye scampers clear for a good-looking 2 3/4-length score

5th-Gulfstream, $45,000, Msw, 3-21, 3yo, f, 5fT, :55.35, fm,
2 3/4 lengths.
BYE BYE (f, 3, Into Mischief–Garnet, by Smart Strike) checked
in sixth in her main-track unveiling Feb. 7, but returned to work
three times over the Payson Park turf and was pounded down to
9-5 off a 4-1 morning line. Ridden along early and eventually
into third along the rail, the bay was full of run heading for
home and was guided into the two path nearing the straight so
as not to run into the back of pacesetter What a Trick (Magician
{Ire}). She put the frontrunner away by midstretch, and
scampered clear with ease for a good-looking 2 3/4-length
score.

The winner’s second dam is a stakes-winning full-sister to
GISW Majestic Warrior (A.P. Indy). Her third dam is therefore
MGISW Dream Supreme (Seeking the Gold). Dam Garnet, the
$1.25-million Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-year-old topper of 2015
and $550,000 KEENOV ’16 buy while in foal to Uncle Mo, has a
yearling filly by Bolt d’Oro and most recently visited
Goldencents. Sales History: $140,000 Ylg ’19 KEESEP. Lifetime
Record: 2-1-0-0, $27,400. Click for the Equibase.com chart or
